A family legacy of “wet gold”
The Georgaris family has a long history in olive growing. A turning point came in 1912, when George Georgaris — who had emigrated to America in 1900 and worked as a train driver in Washington — gave up a secure life abroad to return home, serve in the First and Second Balkan Wars, and was awarded a medal for his service.
After the Second World War he chose not to return to America and devoted himself to his great love: olive oil. Drawing on the experience of his transatlantic years, he expanded the family groves and invested only in what he called “wet gold” — a phrase borrowed from Homer that was always on his lips.
Today the Georgaris family cultivates more than 2,500 Manaki olive trees in Mapsos and Tenea, Corinthia. The oil is stored in nitrogen tanks in zero-humidity warehouses to protect it until bottling.
BeQuest was created around three values that have guided the family ever since: luxury, credibility and customer satisfaction. Built primarily for export, the brand serves customers of many cultures and food traditions, combining heritage with innovation for the modern consumer.
Olive oil is not just a food — it is a super-food,
an ally to health and the heart of a balanced daily diet.
